The Trail
Deep in the woods of Turkey Mountain, something has woken up. Scare Tulsa is a haunted trail winding through the trees — lantern-lit paths, a scary maze, a hay ride, and creatures lurking in the dark of the Urban Wilderness.
Come early for a lighter walk the whole family can brave. Stay after dark, and the forest shows its teeth.

Before You Come
We recommend ages 8 and up, though parents know their kids best — discretion is advised. Every person entering the trail must have a ticket, regardless of age.
Yes — every person entering the trail needs their own ticket, including infants, toddlers, and adults who are only coming along to accompany someone else. There are no free or lap admissions. If your group has ten people walking in, you need ten tickets.
Yes. A signed waiver is required for every guest and is completed during checkout on TicketSpice when you purchase your tickets. For guests under 18, a parent or legal guardian must sign on their behalf.
The trail is a little under half a mile, but it is unpaved natural terrain — expect exposed roots, loose rocks, and some uphill and downhill stretches in the dark. Sure footing and closed-toe shoes are essential.
No. Our actors will never touch you — and in return, please do not touch them. For everyone’s safety, keep your hands off all props, sets, and equipment along the trail.
You are welcome to bring your phone, but it must stay put away for the duration of the trail. Screens and flashlights break the experience for everyone around you and create a hazard on uneven ground.
No. Pets are not permitted on the trail, with the exception of documented service animals. Please leave your animals safely at home.
No. Strollers cannot be accommodated on the trail — the terrain is unpaved and uneven, and they create a safety hazard in the dark. Wagons and similar carts are likewise not permitted.
The trail runs over natural, unpaved ground, which limits accessibility. We want everyone to be able to join us — please contact us ahead of your visit with any ADA requests or accommodation needs and we will do our best to help you plan your night.
Closed-toe shoes are a must — it is an outdoor forest trail with uneven, natural terrain. Dress warmly for a chilly October night and bring a light layer.
The trail runs rain or shine. We only pause or close for severe weather like lightning or high winds. Any changes will be posted to our social channels and ticket holders will be notified.
All tickets are for a specific night, and are non-refundable. If we have to cancel a night for severe weather, your ticket will be honored on another night of the season.

It takes a small army to run a haunted forest. If you want to spend your October nights in the woods scaring strangers, we want to hear from you.
Bring the forest to life. Costume and makeup provided — all you need is the energy to keep guests screaming all night.
Keep the night running — guest check-in, queue lines, and watching over the trail so every group has a safe walk.
Serve up food, hot drinks, and treats at the trailhead. Fast-paced, friendly, and right in the middle of the action.
Build the scenes before opening night and pack it all out when the season ends. Hands-on work for people who like to build.
Keep the props, sets, and effects working through the night — the crew behind the scares that makes every scene land.
Welcome arriving guests and keep the Main Lower Lot moving smoothly from gates open to last car out.
